Richard is a true advocate of building lifelong careers in financial services. He chose to join the profession in 1988 after six years of working in HMRC, where he found his passion for taxation, trusts, and pensions.
Over his career, he has held a wide range of roles, including sales management and learning and development, where he focused on recruiting and developing new and existing financial advisers, and latterly as a Chartered Financial Planner.
Richard took early retirement four years ago and joined LIBF to promote the profession to the next generation of advisers and support their career choices. He strongly believes in lifelong learning and is a Fellow of the CII, and is waiting to see if he has achieved Fellowship with LIBF.
