Emma joined CGAM in 2022 and is a named portfolio manager across the firm’s multi-asset and fixed income strategies. Her investment approach has a strong macroeconomic focus, translating views on inflation, interest rates and market conditions into portfolio positioning, with particular expertise in inflation-linked bonds. Before joining CGAM, Emma spent eight years as a macroeconomist at the Bank of England, focusing on financial market risks. She began her career in capital markets at New Zealand law firm Bell Gully. Emma holds an MSc in Economic History from LSE and studied Economics, Finance and Law at the University of Auckland.
